LSD Lab Members Receive Top Honors at 2025 UTSA Department of Psychology Symposium

Isabella Swafford, a first year PhD student, won 1st Place in the Graduate Competition for her research titled Change My View: Unpacking the Complex Emotional, Cognitive, and Analytic Processes Underlying Persuasion.
Alfonso Carballo, a third year undergraduate student, won 3rd place in the Undergraduate Competition for his research titled Police Use of Analytical Language Predicts Perceptions of Procedural Justice in Police-Civilian Interactions.

Undergraduate and graduate students presented posters highlighting 32 research projects taking place in the psychology department. Three LSD Lab members presented 3 different projects:
